Commodity exchanges and products available for trading with Raiffeisenbank in the European Commodity Clearing (ECC) are as follows:

  • European Energy Exchange (EEX)
  • European Power Exchange (EPEX SPOT)
  • Hungarian Derivative Energy Exchange (HUDEX)
  • Hungarian Power Exchange (HUPX)
  • NOREXECO ASA (NXE)
  • Power Exchange Central Europe (PXE)
  • Serbian Power Exchange (SEEPEX)
  • Ireland and Northern Ireland Single Electricity Market (SEMOPX)

 

We would be happy to assist with clearing both spot and futures transactions on electricity, gas, emission allowances, guarantees of origin or pulp.

To start trading with us, all you need is to:

  • sign a Clearing  Agreement
  • open an additional current account with Raiffeisenbank dedicated to commodity clearing 
  • deposit sufficient funds to cover the expected margin requirement of commodity exchanges (the estimation of which we would be happy to assist with)

Please note that in additon to the requirements above, you would also be required to fulfill specific requirements of the commodity exchange which you plan to trade on as well as be required to become a Non-Clearing Member of the clearing house ECC, such membership generally being free of charge.
