Account statements and confirmations

In your Internet banking, you can download:

Account statements,
Account confirmations (that you are owner of the account),
Balance confirmations.

TIP: Are you still receiving paper account statements by mail and paying fees for them?
You can set up electronic statements to be sent to you for free in Internet Banking.

How can I download my account statement?

In Mobile Banking
On the main page of Mobile Banking, click on the account for which you want a statement.
Select the Detail tab and then the Statements tab.
Selected statement and click on Download statement.

In Internet Banking
Log in to Internet Banking at www.rb.cz.
Select the Accounts tab from the top menu and click on the selected account.
Select Statements and Confirmations from the menu and then select List of statements.

What do the items on the account statement mean?

If an unauthorized overdraft occurs on your account, the following items may appear on the statement:

Accounted principal past due
when there were not enough funds in your current account to post a card payment or pay fees and a so-called unauthorized overdraft occurred on your account. The bank will carry out these transactions, but the amount for which there were not enough funds to be booked will be recorded as a receivable.
Repayment of principal past due
is shown on the statement as soon as the funds in your current account are replenished and the items in the accounts receivable sub-account are repaid/settled.

You will see some transactions that caused an unauthorized overdraft 3 times on your statement.

Example:

On 1. 6. Mr. Novák paid for his purchase in the store for 100 CZK with his card.

On 2. 6. the loan instalment was collected.

On 3. 6. a card transaction of 100 CZK was posted but there were not enough funds in the account and the account entered the state of unauthorized overdraft.
On 3. 6. the card transaction in the value of CZK 100 was registered in the receivables sub-account. On the statement, Mr. Novák sees "Card payment -100 CZK" and at the same time "Accounted principal past due +100 CZK".

On 4. 6. Mr. Novák sent 6,000 CZK to the account.
On 4. 6. There are enough funds in the account.
The receivable is settled (the unauthorised overdraft is paid). On the statement, Mr. Novák sees "Repayment of principal past due -100 CZK".

Where can I change the settings of the statements (sending method, statement period, language)?

These changes can only be made in Internet Banking.
Simply log in the banking at www.rb.cz.
Select the Accounts tab from the top menu and click on the selected account.
Select Statements and Confirmations from the menu and then select Statement settings.
Click Change and set the desired parameters.

How can I download my account confirmation and balance confirmation?

In Mobile Banking
On the main page of Mobile Banking, click on the account for which you want a statement.
Select the Detail tab and then the Account Confirmation tab.
Select the type of confirmation you want to issue:
- Balance confirmation,
- Account confirmation.

In Internet Banking
Log in to Internet Banking at www.rb.cz.
Select the Accounts tab from the top menu. Select the Account confirmation tab from the menu. Select the type of confirmation you want to issue:
- Account balance statement,
- Account confirmation.
Click Create.

TIP
If you change the language in the banking settings, the confirmation will be in that language.
In the app, you can change the language in Menu – Settings – Language.
In internet banking, you can change the language in the top right corner.
