Free account for students

You can open a student account as soon as you are 18 years old. Until then, your statutory representative must also be present when opening the account.

Our AKTIVNÍ účet for children and students is a multi-currency account that lets you keep up to 17 different currencies under one account number. In addition to Czech crowns, you can hold euros, dollars and many others. And just one debit card is all you need. This can be useful, for example, for families where there are parents of two nationalities, when traveling frequently or during an Erasmus stay.

Once you no longer meet the conditions for free use of the AKTIVNÍ account as a student, we will charge you the regular fee of 49 CZK per month. However, you can easily avoid it. All you have to do is switch from AKTIVNÍ účet to our CHYTRÝ účet without fees.

Yes, however only after you reach 18 years of age. You will need an identity document (ID card, passport or Czech residence permit). Alternatively, you can submit another document that establishes your relationship to Czechia.

Yes, certainly. You can simply request an account transfer in the online application when opening the account. Or, come see us at a branch office and bring your ID card and an account statement or a list of payments. We will take care of everything concerning the transfer.

No, you can transfer your account to Raiffeisenbank for free; we charge no fees for the change.
