How to clear cache and cookies in your browser

Clearing the cache can help resolve page display issues, load updated content, or fix errors caused by outdated files.

Google Chrome

  • In Chrome, click the three dots in the top-right corner and choose Settings.
  • In the left menu select Privacy and security and click Clear browsing data.
  • In the dialog, choose the Basic or Advanced tab, select the time range All time, and check Cached images and files and Cookies and other site data.
  • Confirm by clicking Clear data.
  • Finally, close and reopen the browser.

Microsoft Edge

  • Open Edge, click the three dots in the top-right corner, and choose Settings.
  • In the left menu select Privacy, search, and services and then Clear browsing data.
  • Set the time range to All time, check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
  • Click Clear now.
  • Finally, close and reopen the browser.

Mozilla Firefox

  • Click the three horizontal lines in Firefox and choose Settings.
  • In the left column open Privacy & Security and under Cookies and Site Data click Clear Data.
  • In the window that opens set the time range to Everything, then check Cached Web Content and Cookies and Site Data.
  • Click Clear.
  • Finally, close and reopen the browser.
