How to Activate a New Credit Card

Once you receive your new credit card, activate it using one of these methods:

  • In Mobile Banking
    On the main page in the product overview, select the card and click Activate.
  • In Internet Banking
    In the main menu, go to Cards, select the card, and click Activate.
  • During the first transaction with the card
    If you can't activate the card online, use it for the first time at a merchant. Insert the card into the terminal and enter your PIN. This will also activate contactless payments.
TIP

You don't have to wait for your plastic card to arrive. You can pay with your card as soon as you open an account, just add the card into Google Wallet or Apple Pay and pay with your mobile phone or watch.
