Our help and thanks

We arranged for accommodation and food for 700 refugees from Ukraine.

We donated 10 million CZK for humanitarian aid.

We offer a free account to the people struck by the conflict in Ukraine

To make things easier for the refugees, we have prepared a free multi-currency current account.

However, there is more of our help

  • We arranged for accommodation and food for 700 refugees from Ukraine. Today, 150 people are being hosted already and the remaining accommodation and catering capacities for 550 people are made available to the Czech Ministry of Interior. In total, we reserved additional 50 million CZK for this aid.

  • Our staff also takes care of organizing the accommodation. Together we assist arriving refugees with orientation around Prague, arrangements for basic needs and documents or with opening bank accounts.

  • In collaboration with our partners we offered premises suitable for education of Ukrainian children.

  • We sent 10 million CZK via People in Need, an NGO, for humanitarian aid. Our clients have also shown a huge amount of solidarity by donating 190 million CZK in 10 days to help Ukraine. As part of the Day for Ukraine initiative, our employees donated additional 5 million CZK via People in Need. 

  • We refund fees for all foreign payments to Ukraine made since the first day of the war.
  • Our Ukrainian members of staff located in Czechia are given an opportunity to benefit from psychological assistance; also, the bank will be offering jobs to Ukrainian refugees.
  • We prepared an Ukrainian version of our internet and mobile banking.
  • Many of our colleagues participate in other direct material assistance.
  • We procure transportation of people from the Ukrainian borders.
  • Our humanitarian aid for the refugees also covers the time of their stay in the Czech Republic.
