Roland von Frankenberg (55) joins the bank with his experience of over 20 years in technology and IT industries. He replaced Martin Kolouch, who will take a new position within the group of Raiffeisen.
The past career of Roland von Frankenberg included various managing positions with, amongst other, Deutsche Telekom and IBM, where he had been working in top executive positions in different parts of the world. For the last ten years he had been focusing on consulting in telecommunications and IT, and had been cooperating with Raiffeisen Group during the recent two years.
„I am joining Raiffeisenbank with two main priorities. Firstly to develop IT and the IT staff of further improving the quality of service for both external and internal customers. The second priority is successful implementation of a new banking system,“ he said. Roland von Frankenberg holds a PhD in experimental particle physics and speaks four languages.
