Treasury bills
The bank mediates the purchase and sale of treasury bills (typically state). A treasury bill is a discounted debt instrument issued (typically by the state) with a maturity of 1 year.The holder of a treasury bill receives a yield until they are sold back to the issuer (or before maturity).Treasury bills may at any time be sold before their maturity. It is typically best to purchase treasury bills at a primary auction.

o Trades may be made through direct telephone communication with employees of the Treasury section.
- Typically better interest than for TDs
Conditions
A signed Commission Contract, a Contract for the Administration of Securities at ČNB and the establishment of an account on the short-term bond market at ČNB. Investment into treasury bills is worthwhile for amounts exceeding 10 million CZK.
