Gemini 5.0 is a product of BSC Praha s.r.o. The software was launched on the market in 2002 and throughout its existence has become very popular especially with small and medium-sized enterprises. At present, the software is offered by many Czech banks. Raiffeisenbank offers the Gemini 5.0 system to its clients in Czech, English and German versions.
Basic functions of Gemini 5.0:

• home payments and collection orders
• foreign payments
• home and foreign payments with future maturity date
• standing payment orders with automatic setup based on entered instalment schedule
• urgent payments
• term deposits
Other areas of use
• bi-directional bridge with an accounting system/HR agenda (export/import of orders)
• templates for payment orders
• database of foreign partners
• current exchange list of Raiffeisenbank a.s. and ČNB
• interest rates on term deposits
• bank codes, country and payment codes
• information on status of the order being processed
• automatic communication with the bank
Gemini 5.0 includes all standard security components:
• individual user access passwords and rights
• password to electronic signature
• authorization of payment orders prior to sending to the bank
The system also contains the Electronic Signature module, which, in addition to defined daily and batch limits, provides the authorization level for approval of payments and work with the company’s funds (the limits specify the amount of the payment orders file the user can sign and the amount that cannot be exceeded in a single business day).
The basic properties of the Electronic Signature module are:
• personal electronic signatures of authorized users
• public and secret key, generated using the RSA encryption algorithm
• electronic signature specimens checked automatically by the system’s bank side
