Account for insurance brokers

The account for insurance brokers is designed for insurance agents and brokers who are authorised to receive premiums or to pay settlements from an insurance company. Under Act 38/2004 Coll., on insurance brokers, they must use a separate bank account for these purposes. This account may not be used to deposit private resources or the resources ensuing from the private business activities of an insurance agent or broker.

What we offer you

The account for insurance brokers is specially designed for insurance agents and brokers. The account can only be opened in addition to a main account, which may be the Profikonto or an independent current account.

Furthermore you can order direct banking for the account, with which you will not have to visit the bank since you can manage your accounts from a distance. If you choose Profikonto as your main account, direct banking services will be free of charge.

The account for insurance brokers is intended

  • for insurance agents and brokers (individual entrepreneurs and legal entities) who are authorised to receive premiums or to pay settlements from an insurance company.

What do you need to open a current CZK account?

  1. Submit documents necessary to open an insurance broker’s account
    • ID pass
    • the original or verified copy of a Trade Licence, or extract from the Commercial Register or other register, or other document awarding entitlement to do business, no older than 3 months
    • contract(s) with the appropriate insurance company or a document on registration at the Ministry of Finance of the CR
  2. Have a main account opened at Raiffeisenbank a.s.
  3. Conclude a written contract with the bank
